We are an NHS practice and provide the full range of general medical and nursing care for our registered patients. A full range of contraceptive services are available.

Free NHS health checks are available to adults aged between 40 and 74.

These are provided by our clinical team in 2 stages-

i) At the first appointment the HCA or Practice Nurse will ask questions
about your lifestyle, record height, weight, blood pressure, pulse
rate and conduct a simple fasting blood test to check cholesterol levels. 

ii) At the second appointment with the GP, these results are then
discussed & relevant information and support for maintaining a healthy
lifestyle will be available.

The nursing staff can also give you travel advice and vaccinations including Yellow Fever.

They perform cervical smears for women aged 25-65 and can give sexual health advice to all our patients.

Lifestyle advice is also available with information on diet & exercise. As well as regular weight checks, they offer help to stop smoking and provide blood pressure monitoring. We can take blood here to save you long waits at the hospital.
