** Where two or more injections are required at once, these should ideally be given in different limbs. Where this is not possible, injections in the same limb should be given 2.5cm apart.
In England from September 2019, the HPV vaccine will be given to all 12 and 13 year old girls and boys in school Year 8. It is very important to have both doses to be protected however those who missed their HPV vaccination in school year 8 can continue to have the vaccine up to their 25th birthday.
